This page explains how the questions, answers and explanations in our practice sets are prepared and checked, what they are, and what to do if you find a mistake.
What we publish
- Practice sets (PDF). Each set holds expected (guess) questions for one exam, grouped by subject, with the correct answer and a short explanation for every question.
- A free sample for every set, so you can judge the quality before you pay.
Our sets are practice material. They are not the official paper, and we are not connected with any exam-conducting body. Please read our Disclaimer.
How a set is made
- We read the exam. We look at the pattern and syllabus published for the exam: subjects, number of questions, question types and the way marks are split.
- We use previous year questions where they exist. Where earlier papers of the exam (or of similar exams) are available, we study the topics and difficulty they show. Where they are not, the set follows the exam pattern.
- We write fresh questions. Questions are written on the subjects and topics the exam covers. They are not copied from any paper or book.
- Every question gets an answer and an explanation. The explanation says why the answer is right and, where useful, why a tempting option is wrong.
Checks before a set goes live
Every set must pass the same automatic checks before it can be published. The website will not build, and so the set cannot go live, if a check fails.
- Every question has at least two different options, and any passage or instruction a question points to exists.
- Every question has exactly one answer, and the answer key is one of the options.
- The answer text matches the option it points to.
- Every answer has a written explanation.
- No question is marked as uncertain. A question that is in doubt blocks publishing until it is resolved.
- Question numbers are unique, and the subject and topic of each question are recorded, so the subject breakdown on a set page is always counted from the real file.
These checks catch structural mistakes. They cannot prove that a fact is correct, which is why we also ask you to tell us when something looks wrong.
Facts that change
Current affairs, schemes, rules and exam patterns change. Always check the official notification of the exam for dates, syllabus, eligibility and the latest pattern. If our material and the official notification differ, the official notification is correct.
Corrections
We want every answer to be right. If you think a question, option, answer or explanation is wrong, email team@gpadda.com with the set name, the question number and what you think is correct. We review each report. When the report is right, we correct the set. If you bought a set that we later corrected, write to us and we will send you the updated file.
Independence
We do not take payment to change a question, an answer or the way a set is described. We do not claim results we cannot show, and we do not publish reviews or numbers we cannot back up. A purchase is never needed to read how we work: this page, the free samples and the policies are public.
Updates to this page
